Apple ลดความเข้มงวดการตรวจโปรแกรมบน App Store ลง

ในช่วงแรกสุดที่ทาง Apple ได้เข้มงวดอย่างมากในการตรวจสอบ App Store ตั้งแต่ให้นักพัฒนาส่งเข้ามา แต่ตอนนี้ดูเหมือนว่า Apple เริ่มปล่อยบ้างแล้วเล็กน้อย เหตุผลอาจเนื่องมาจากช่วงหลัง App Store ใหม่ๆดูเหมือนจะน้อยลงทุกที ข่าวคราวทีแล้วเคยแจ้งไว้ว่า App ของ Apple ทะลุหลักแสน App แล้ว

ถ้าเปิดโปรแกรม iSimulate ขึ้นมาและทำการเรียก API พิเศษของระบบ (private API) จะทำให้ผ่านไปได้ โดยหลักการแล้ว Apple จะยินยอมให้โปรแกรมของ Apple ใช้งานเพียงเท่านั้น โดยมีข้อความเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษรในข้อตกลงของ iPhone Developer Program

อย่างไรก็ดี มันก็ไม่ได้ผ่านง่ายดายไปทุก App เพราะได้มีอีเมล์ถึงผู้พัฒนาต่างๆให้ทำการปรับปรุงการใช้ API นี้ในการอัพเดทครั้งต่อไป ส่วนของเวอร์ชั่นนี้จะให้นำออกจำหน่ายได้เป็นการชั่วคราว ซึ่งทางฝั่งผู้พัฒนาเองก็รู้สึกดีใจลึกๆกับท่าทีของ Apple ในครั้งนี้ และพร้อมใจแก้ไข API ดังกล่าวในเวอร์ชั่นถัดไปอีกเช่นกัน

ข้อความในอีเมล์

“Thank you for submitting your update to iSimulate to the App Store. During our review of your application we found it is using a private API, which is in violation of the iPhone Developer Program License Agreement section 3.3.1; “3.3.1 Applications may only use Documented APIs in the manner prescribed by Apple and must not use or call any private APIs.” While your application has not been rejected, it would be appropriate to resolve this issue in your next update.

The non-public API that is included in your application is UITouch._touchFlags.

Please resolve this issue in your next update to iSimulate.”
